Evelyn Grace Academy

Evelyn Grace Academy is a very striking building, designed by the incomparable Zaha Hadid and Associates.

I worked with the school post-occupancy, to use design to address some very common issues that occur with schools and other public buildings: the occupants often don’t feel like the building belongs to them, and they to the building.

Working closely with a client team of students, teachers and senior leaders from the school, as well as senior management at global charity; Ark Schools, I designed a signage guideline document that created a uniform approach to wayfinding, whilst also furnishing the stunning, yet other-wordly architecture with a relateable character and identity.
