School Creative was a programme dedicated to improving life in schools, by adopting a user-led design process as a treatment to improve the built environment. One of the founding partners, I was also responsible for all design and marketing, and a major challenge was getting in front of teachers, senior leaders, governors and academy sponsors, to promote our approach and generate leads.
We needed to interrupt the aforementioned recipients days with a piece of extra-ordinary design : something that would stand out in the piles of paperwork and get attention. I designed an intricate origami booklet, firstly explaining why they should consider investing in their built environment in a 3 page format, and then, once the booklet is elaborately unfolded, explaining how we work and why they should work with us.
